Christmas Lights Magnets

While looking through my supplies one day, I found some lightweight magnets and decided I would use them to make something.  First, I picked a new stamp I wanted to try out – the Christmas light bulb –  on a white notecard.  Then, I colored in the images with markers (and for extra pizzazz I used a Silver Sharpie on the light’s screw base).  Next, I cut out all the images and for a laminating effect, I sandwiched them between clear packing tape.  I cut them out again (leaving a bit of a tape border so it would remain stuck together) and glued a magnet to it (using tacky glue).  Ta-da!

On another day, I came up with an easy way to display them as a gift.  I taped paper clips to a piece of notecard and glued this piece to decorative paper attached to another notecard.
