Metallic “Hello” Card with Inchie Tiles
November’s ODBD Operation Write Home Challenge is to make a card using rarely used tools or techniques.
Since my last card was cutesy, I wanted to make a more classic and uni-sex card for this challenge.
I decided I would use an “inchie” flourish stamp that I hadn’t really ever used and turned to OWH sketch #60 for my layout. Also, since I haven’t used embossing powder in a long time, I used some on my “Hello” sentiment to make it gold and shiny to match the metallic gold card base.
Thanks for taking a look!
(And thanks to Our Daily Bread Designs for sponsoring the challenge and supporting Operation Write Home by providing shipping funds to send cards to deployed troops!)
